Neil Hitchman is a professionally registered Incorporated Engineer (IEng) and senior project leader with 30+ years’ construction and engineering experience, including 22+ years as a Project Manager delivering complex, regulated and safety-critical infrastructure. A trusted specialist in grid-connected infrastructure, high-voltage (HV) delivery, renewable energy, and multi-utility coordination, bringing deep technical insight, commercial awareness and a calm, solutions-focused approach.
Accredited Full Member of CIBSE, IET and APM, with a proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, influence stakeholders at all levels, and deliver major programmes to exacting standards. Experienced in developing and peer-reviewing industry regulations, guides and technical publications, and an active committee member supporting IEC TC 99 (HV systems) and IEC TC 64 (earthing and protection).
